When it comes to throwing a party for kids one cannot go wrong with a Hot Wheels theme. Little boys absolutely love it and the girls are sure to enjoy it too. The essence of the party would of course be cars, speed and racing. So set the mood by hanging up some car cut outs and putting up lots of posters of race cars. The black and white checkered pattern should be an intrinsic part of the décor. String up checkered flags together and hang them as banners. It would also be great to have a checkered table cloth for your snack table.

A novel idea would be to hold your Hot Wheels party at the local go-carting track. But if that’s a little beyond your budget, you can do just as well in your backyard.
